  2. Love the arty jelly roll race quilt. It has turned out rather wonderful. Glad you are getting to know your machine. Just think of all the new stuff you will create.
A vacuum sealer is on my wish list. Hate blanching.

  4. It's so much fun to see fresh beans from your garden when we in Minnesota are a little chilly (minus 35 degrees farenhit) up north and ground white with snow. I think it should be called Quilt Season instead of winter!!
    Enjoy..

  5. Loving your jelly roll quilt and such a kind heart you have... now do you just vacuum seal all your vegie garden produce with out blanching? that would be so much easier than the old method and is it as fresh as it goes in once opened and thawed? silly questions but I have just never thought of that idea before xxx

  13. Gorgeous quilt and aren't Bernina's great! I too like the idea of vac packing but don't have one lol. This year there will not be much to preserve from the garden due to fruit fly. No fruit and I haven't done much with other vegies after finding the horrible things. No sense watering plants just to feed fruit fly maggots.
