Dempsey the helper,baby jumper and sneak peek

 Last time our little Dempsey was up he wanted to help grandpa build something,he had so much fun with a hammer and some bits of wood,it kept him busy for ages.






Below i found this very cute jumper and hat pattern,so i went to spotlight and bought some dark grey pure wool to knit these with.My DD2 said this colour will go well with the light blue growsuits.







I have been busy doing some redwork for my online swap,lots of secret sewing at the moment.

  8. my kids loved visiting their grandad as they always used to make things out of bits of wood. hammering away in the garage while grandad pottered around the place. I miss those days.

  19. Memories!! I did exactly the same thing with my grandpa right up until I was in my pre teens. Being in his shed was a much better place than hanging out with my much older cousins.
    Sneaky peak has a very Christmassy look to it.

  20. It is lovely spending time with your grandchildren and it is lovely for them to spend time with their grandparents too! Builds beautiful and fond memories on both sides. Enjoy these special times.
